  1. APEXFV3 is a set of picture and animation viewers which are a part of
  2. the APEX animation program.  Doug Little (of Black Scorpion
  3. Developments, the creator of APEX) has released them into the PD (as
  4. of Jan. 26, 1995).  One will allow Falcon owners to view 256/16 bit
  5. truecolor FLIC (Autodesk FLI/FLC/FLH/FLT/FLX) animations direct from
  6. disk, a DSP based 24-bit color JPEG viewer, two GIF viewers, a Targa
  7. (compressed or uncompressed) viewer for the ST-Falcon (4096 colors on
  8. the ST, 32768 colors on the STE, and 16.7 million colors --24-bit
  9. color!- on the Falcon).  It also contains a CPX which can be used to
  10. translate images between the Targa, GIF & PPM formats (in batch or
  11. single-mode).  This CPX also allows you a number of options available
  12. for tuning quality and filtering during conversion.
